Didn´t like the breakfast and the breakfast room which is in the claustrophobic basement. Small room. We got wrong information about the parking place close to the hotel (we were told that hourly rates are possible but then no hourly rate possible when entering after 4pm).
Fantastic location for exploring Lower East Side and East village. Room was small but perfectly formed! Great roof top access which you can take your own food and drink up to.
Only one grumble - wardrobe space is v small so how about some wall hooks? (Instead of note not to hang things on sprinklers!!)
It's a nice modern hotel. The location is perfect for tourism in lower manhattan. Breakfast and free wifi are a plus
After a weekend of shopping the room was rather small for all the bags, boxs, etc!
The hotel was located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan near lots of bars and nightclubs. The hotel room was tiny.
-Free breakfast is from 07:30-10:30am and the hours need to be extended into brunch. -The hotel charged me a hidden $70 hospitality fee.
Staff was excellent: cheerful, helpful and appeared happy to have us as guests
Thermostat in room was difficult to figure out
The location was very good for access to subway service. Neighborhood felt safe. The rooftop patio area is fabulous, with great views...
Friendly staff, good location, modern decor.
bathroom tiles need replacing in the bath
The hotel was very clean and convenient to the 2nd Ave mta stop and an awesome Whole Foods Market with an amazing beer selection. Hotel pricing was reasonable for the location. The roof deck was very nice and had a great view of the Empire State Building and skyline. The beds are platform style and comfortable but the pillows were not great. The room size was reasonable given the location. IPod dock was a big plus. I wasn't crazy about the smoked glass divider for the bathroom and no fan otherwise it was excellent. Overall, the room was great for a couple nights in the city. Definitely recommend it as a reasonable alternative to the higher priced rooms in the area.
No refrigerator or ice machine. Smoked glass divider and no fan in the bathroom. Pillows were not comfortable.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The neighborhoods was really nice, especially the Soho and Nolita areas, full of shops, nice bars and restaurant. The subway station is behind the corner, easily connecting both uptown and downtown. Friendly stuff. I traveled alone, and the size of the room was ok. It's a good hotel with still affordable prices compared to the much more expensive hotels in times square's area. I would definitely come back.
The location is hard to beat. You are very close to excellent shopping, restaurants and the subway. The hotel is only two blocks from Whole Foods, which is very convenient for morning coffee or lunch. Also the view from the courtyard on top of the hotel is fabulous. It is a great place to sit and relax with friends. We thought that the noise from the streets would be an issue but it was surprisingly very quiet in the evenings.
The hotel staff never went out of their way to make our stay overall excellent; however, they were very polite and friendly. Our towels were never replaced and the room was never actually cleaned during our stay, just our bed re-made.
Location, location, location - this is the primary reason most would choose this soho hotel & was for me too. I also liked the strong & reliable wifi signal. Also, the room on the 5th floor was quiet for nyc. Hotel staff also were nice & helpful. There also is breakfast included although I opted for visiting some of the wonderful nosh spots nearby. Very close to subway & located in walkable soho too.
I am from a large city & visit nyc often so I get small hotel rooms but I draw the line when there is no room for my luggage & I have to eat on my bed. This just seemed smaller than similar boutique hotels at same price point.
Neighborhood was convenient but not picturesque
staff, specialy manager Tim, he ist absoulutly profi! During hurricane he did everything to ouer stay was good
Location, very cool.
Poor front desk person to greet us. Could nto explain tarrifs, not verybfriendly or upbeat. Rooms terribly small almost all taken up by bed. Night club across the road. Climate control woud remain silent then come on with a whoooosh whenever it needed to condition the temp. Very disturbing to sleep. With raz we paid well over $300 a night and this is the worst value hoel I have sayed in at New York. If other people like it, we didnt and would not stay there again unless we had no choice.
The roof terrace is totally awesome!
My room (507) was really very small.
